I am a master CM/Doc, andI pretty much only pvp now.I put my remaining points into 4 slots in rifle in the marksmanship tree, and use a laser rifle. I am considering dropping rifle and putting the points into pistol to use a fwg5. Before I try this I figured I'd ask if any other cm/doc has tested out which weapon is more effective?

unless you're really into the bleeds, go rifle 3/pistol 3 and use a tangle pistol. If you happen to run across someone who PvPs with composite on anymore at least.

I'm REALLY tired of seeing naked people.

laser carbine is the way to go. bleed causes position change so they can't run up on you and leg shot 2 stuns your target. it works for me so far. even in pve.

The laser rifle is overrated in some situations. A dlt20a has a much higher minimum damage (and much lower maximum - that's the big trade-off) and much lower HAM costs and probably more a bit more speed (haven't looked at these in a while). /headshot2 with a dlt20a is often more effective than /headshot2 with a laser rifle.

Laser rifle does give you some armor piercing, which niether the pistols nor the dlt20a provide. But with pistols 3 and rifles 3, you do have a lot of flexibility to choose damage types to match vulnerabilites.
