Thread: Adios Amigos!
Well I gave up my Master CM today. It's all I wanted to do since June 26th and it felt great when I accomplished it.
But it's time to move on, explore other character ideas etc etc.
It has been a blast debating with you guys and watching our profession grow.

But, selfishly, I noticed your faq is gone from your sig. Any chance at leaving it up? It and your database of schematics are very valuable.

Im just tired of not being able to really do any damage in PvE. By the time my poison ticks twice, the commandos/TKA's have already killed the thing, so i feel pretty useless. The only thing I ever find myself doing is throwing area stims in a group, or running from planet to planet on harvester runs. Maybe if poisons get a big boost in the future, i'll come back. But im getting bored with just throwing area sitms all the time.
Oh I love the profession too. It's all I wanted to play in SWG. I've been a medic/healer in every MMORPG I've ever played. I love the tangible value and feel good vibe you get when you keep a group alive in a tough battle.
It's not the same in SWG as it was in other games. In Anarchy Online for example, a Medic and some good healing is all that stood between a group and severe unsaved XP loss. Here it's just an annoying walk.
I mastered Medic July 3rd, Was a Combat Medic July 10th and a Master by early August....and I had a blast the entire way.
But the joy of this game is in the discovery, and I want my character to learn more things and aquire new skills.
