hey Pahd, i strong suggest you log onto TC some time to test out the combat changes. i don't think it sounds all that great for medics of any kind O.o

I've been trying to . I haven't had access to the correspondent terminal yet. I'm on as Pahdecca. The other problem is I crash to desktop wheneverI try to log on since yesterday. I am still trying.

Which combat changes in particular are you talking about?

Edit: Ahhh, ok, those changes. (Ham specials)

are you crashing at the launchpad? If so, have you done a full scan? the full scan fixes alot of the crashes that happen at the launch pad. If it was in game crashes on TC, I heard that things were a bit unstable with the vehicle additions, but I was able to install, patch, and play on my brother's low end machine today.

Ok, finally got on! Only thing to my name though is a CDEF pistol, already used my melon. No using correspondent's terminal for me yet but I will do what I can. My speeder bike kicks some butt though!

Ok, Kave set me up with some starter stuff.

Ok guys this is just an idea for CM's in a group support role. With the nerf in the tc to stim range i was thinking of adding grouped CM's to the radar. Any CM's with support 4(or something like that) would be added to the group radar. Members of the group would have CM's appear as an orange dot on the radar(like the leader in purple). Also similar to targeted items...an orange directional compass would be available. This would help grouped members recognise the where abouts of the cm . Last night i was kimo hunting in a large group.....20 with pets. one of the problems i faced was members spreading across the terrain making it hard to heal them even with 72m ranged stims.

I've never really pvp'd and only hunt, several times a day infact. I like being the group healer but even with my range its frustrating to have members wander very far out of my range. by adding a compass and cm radar i think it would help the group be more effective aswith my role as support class. As ranged support i feel this would be a great idea. i hate having to watch the range of people by targeting them or relying on the group ham bar(sometimes names are too long and the display blocks my view), This would also place some of the responsiblity of getting healed partly on the individual not just soley on the cm. I have enuff to watch as is...ie the group ham, radar, the actual game action, nme ham, ranges, my own ham and so forth. I have to make tuff calls at times..who gets healed 1st, the other resser, the guy with the pets, should i heal H and A or Mind......should i res 1st?(im also a resser)

Altenatively ...perhaps i should show up as orange in the group ham (to other members) whenwithin the new 64m range and line of sight to the individual. ie i have an orange box round my ham to the group, normal color otherwise. Maybe this should be a master thing i dunno..........again it would greatly improve my group effectiveness. with a lower range i feel this would compensate to some degree for the nerf to our defense. We are the most important members of the group in the field along with docs.....more so initially cause of our range. group members can run to us.

Another alternative is to havemembers in range and LOS(line of sight) appear with a colored border around their ham to us the cms. still places the responsibilty of who gets healed on us ...but we can make faster snap judgements.

Just an unpolished idea.... pls make more suggestions or make a new thread for this. Pahdbacca what do u think.....what do the rest of u think?

We gettinng some heavynerfs but i think this will help us. We make or break the group.......we can still be even more effective! this is something easy to add and imo we deserve this.

Logged into TC and checked out the vehicle patch, the fun factor is gone for CM's

this has nothing to do with decreasing the range of stims and poisons nor the +1 cap, its all about money. With the changes on TC you can only call out one faction pet, and you can only call out a CH pet that is CL10 or lower. Previous to the patch, I would be able to get Level 42 destroy missions by grouping with my 3 faction pets and my cowerly gurrek. After obtaining the missions, I would store my faction pets and only use my CG to tank to complete the mission. These missions were a challange would have a sizable payout so I wouldnot need to spendall my playtime doing missions to cover the week expenses of this profession. With the changes made in the vehicle patch, I will be spending all my playtime to cover the factory, harvestor, hospital, and travel expenses that are dumped on this profession and will have no time left to run with a group.

Granted on the live servers a CM / Doc would be able to sell stim B's to offset the operating expenses, but limiting a profession to only one source of income is a bad thing and gets old real quick. On TC, the market is not quite the same as it is on live, although this may change with character copy around the corner. Anyway, with the changesI find myself more a slave to the money pit, spending all my time running brain deadlevel 15 missions to cover expenses. OftenI must refusethe invite for the group hunts where this profession would be a necessity because I don't have enough cash in the bank to cover the week's fees.

Please change the faction pets back to the way they were or give CM's a new source of income so we can chase down the rare resources needed to make a poison that is semi-effective for PvE fights.
