Thread: Should i become a Combat Medic?
Hihi this is a kind of dumb question, but i made my character with the thought thatd id eventually become a CM/<insert elite marksman skill here>. Ive been reading the medic boards a lot to help me raise my skills while still having fun and all i need now are some AP points and combat xp
the thing is...ive seen a few threads on the medic forum asking whether to go Doctor or CM, and they all seem to point to Doctor because they can buff etc etc
was hoping to get some opinions from people who really know the Combat medic class, goods and bads, so i can make a good decision 
Really depends on what ya wanna do with combat Medic. I like to hunt in large groups because my area stims mean almost no down time. Ican heal multiple memebers at the same time, orI can heal a pet 50m away for 1-2k a pop. Mind heal is sweet, even if it hurts wound wise. I like my terrain negotiation, body dragging ranged stim throwing to save at the last minute and reviving (I did take revive line of doc) In the thick of combat healing style.
As for the doctor stuff, I hope some of the doctor/CM people offer you insite on that. Same for the CM/advanced range Prof people since I don't do much of that either.
As it is right now, it seems that if you don't go for the poison or ranged healing, you get more bang for your buck as a Doc to support groups or a combat profession you take yourself. I sure hope the CM correspondent can change that though
