I'm looking to build a new CM/Marksman. Any advice on what race would be best?

Are there innate abilities or bonuses I'd be happy to have? Or maybe one profession had HAM cpabilities best suited for CMs?

As a CM, how are you using your HAM the most?

Been Zabrak since I started playing and dont want to reroll. Humans allow for the most mind stats, and zabraks get the equilibrium ability. Its all what you want to play.

Too often people pick a race because of it's natural bonuses, then they drop those skills and they are stuck with a race they don't really like. I hear "pick what you like to play" more often than not. Really all the bonuses you get ....I think you can get from foods or created onto clothing without using any sockets?

I've been playing for a while, been around the game. I'm definitely looking to base my choice on the race best suited to the profession (if I had understood the stat bonuses when I made my artisan, I would have loved the human's extra exp point).

Do you Zabraks findEquilibrium to be especially useful as a CM?

I started out as a Twilek and after seeing Equilibrium in action I deleted and remade myself a Zabrak. This ability can be used in the right circumstances to heal your mind to full. The only downsides are that it can only be used once an hour and you cannot use this ability if you have a state effect.

to hell with zabrak go mon cal, you have 1300 max mind pool with a dancer enhance thats 2600 mind w/o 2 brandy or muon gold

with all of those i have gotten my mind up to 4k, at that point it doesnt matter what you do

You can change your stats on any character. I think most of the MCMs I've seen have been humans or zabraks. I don't think that is because they make the best MCMs, I think it's more of a personal preference to what race people want to play. My advice is to pick a race you'd enjoy playing because you might not always keep those skills.

Go wookiee. We get mega regenerative powers =~) Actualy I love my CM Wookiee. So my stats in the mind area aren't the best but They are good enough. Besides wookiees are cool.

So mind drains the most quickly for a CM? Good to know. Do Cm actions affect action or helath much?
