Quick question.
I've been a MCM for 7 months, but have used only ranged/area stims thus far in hunting groups for healing. I'm also a Master Dr. as well.
I just recently started making poisons and was wondering what are good stats to shoot for.
Here is my latest Mind poison:
Potency - 136
Effectiveness - 294
Duration - 243
Range - 29
Doesn't seem that good in Potency, but looking for any constructive thoughts or guidance.
Thanks!

Are you using aluminum for non ferrous metal? If you are I recommend you switch to copper since the higher CD rating will increase your charges and range.

Yes, actually I am using aluminum. Thank you for the tip and will try a batch with some copper!
Many Thanks!

Ugh...that almost (by like 3) beats my single mind poisons as far as effectiveness goes...I don't craft, I buy...I can't afford to maintain a harvestor or buy the resources.
A Raidant MCM looking for some badass CM vendor...

No prob, also the fungus you use...I assume it has high stats in OQ and PE but does it have a low DR?
Let me present a scenario for you. I'm using same components in resources to make 2 poisons. The only difference is the Fungus I use. I have a total of 12 points to use for experimentation. The fungus:
Wela OQ 901, PE 840ish, DR 750ish
Imerc OQ 960ish, PE 940ish, DR 240ish
Base Effectiveness before experimentation with Wela is 101, Imerc is 105
During experimentation phase I dump 10 points into effectiveness and max out at 296 using Wela. I have 2 points leftover to dump into charges.
Using Imerc I dump 10 points into effectiveness, I still don't max. I drop the remaining 2 points into effectiveness and I hit 295 effectiveness.
So generally I try to use fungus with a higher DR since I get more bang for the buck with it.

Had a realy good spawn of "non-ferrus metal) on tempest that I am still useing. >900 on all relevant stats... ohhh baby I love that stuff. If I don't use that though I definatly go for the copper.

I have noticed the same thing as Gnuut. I managed to get my hands on 950+OQ 900+PE 900+ DR fungus. The high DR makes a BIG difference

Funny thing is I have never heard this mentioned anywhere. Hell even the schematic mentions DR affecting the duration but not the effectiveness. It's just something I happened to notice one day and other CMs say I'm crazy.

It would be more helpful if you posted the stats of your components as well.
Any potency over 110 I have noticed means you get resisted like 1/200 times.
Single poison effectiveness, >330 is good stuff, area >250
I wouldnt even touch a poison that had less then 78 meter range. Defintely use a non ferrous with an oq and dr>900, and a cd >850. You of course want the CD >900, but don't be that picky. Copper is preferred over alum, but I dont use any non ferrous with a dr under 900.
