Hey all fellow Combat Medics. I have been searching through the forum looking for a definitive post on crafting poisons and disease. I am not that sure about the experimentation part of it.
Some advice would be much appreciated. And by the way, if I have overlooked a post, could u please reply with it.
P.S. I have a Front Gong Skin for sale on the Bria server if anybody is interested. My name in the game is Bastoph. Email me with an offer if you want.
Cheers Guys and Gals

What are you not sure about? Something not covered in the FAQ?

I personally found 0 usefull information on specifically How to craft diseases and poisons in the FAQ. And I read through the whole thing, every link up there in fact. And by how to craft I mean what stats to max out in experimentation of components and final production. And what I can expect to be good stats.

Advanced infection amplifiers (AIAs): experiment for power (your only option)
Advanced resiliency compounds (ARCs): I experiment for potency, all the way (I think that is the ease of use line). I never have problems with the duration of my meds.
Advanced dispersal mechanisms (ADMs): I go for charges to increase range....almost never expeeeriment for area now. This is personal taste though.
I can get AIAs of 58 power...that is using titanium aluminum that is over a year old, however. It's nice to see what numbers people get on their components/meds, but if you don't have good resources, then you do the best you can. I know the advanced search function is a pain, but there are a number of threads out there with some examples in them. Components use OQ and DR....Final builds use OQ and PE.
Let me know if you have any questions after using this post and the 2 links in the post above.

why not simply try it out?
i mean this is your profession. you should not grind it with practicing abecs or sth like that.
during your crafting xp you should have long time to test what your experimentations points can change and what not. i personally dont like ppl who grind a profession in 2 days, and have basicly no idea what there profession is like. they go then into the forums, read faqs, and complain if some details which are obvious are missing.
afterwards they complain if their professions isnt strong enough, and if they are easily killed in pvp, or they moan in our case that the ressource spawns are too low.
HEY, you like this profession or you drop it. if every noob combat medic who grinds it in 3 hours can craft 700 tick poisen we will suffer huge in the next combat rewamp. i want it as hard as possible to craft good poisen cause our profession is simply to easy to grind.
just my opinon

There is nothing wrong with asking. Like i said, much of it is personal taste (area vs distance, etc.) which the newer CMs will have to find out on their own.

I started this thread a few days ago and it was my 1st attempt . I would like to thank everybody who helped me out. Furthermore, I would like to take this chance to say, Santachristo, I thought these forums were to help eachother out. I love being a combat medic, I am begining to understand the crafting aspect of it. All I needed was some direction that all the above replies gave, bar you. Dude, you might want to stop taking this to seriously and lighten up.
