So I started thinking about this...
Where do the Master CM's fit into JTL? Since we are a ground support and attack profession, do we get some sort of ship poison
Just thought I'd poll you guys on this.

the same as every other prof.... in a ship. I don't see many of the current profs having much to do in space...'cept pick up pilot and fly

Way I see it is I'm support on the ground, but going the other route in space. Finally we get to fight and run around shooting stuff, I can't wait...lol
Although I have talked to folks in beta, who say docs are very useful on the multi person ships. They were in a fight on a falcon type ship, and one of the guys manning the turrets got shot up and caught on fire, but they had a doc on board to put out the fire and heal the guy. Sounds like loads of fun.

Good luck getting the skill points you need to be a pilot after you've chosen CM...

Where do we fit in? Nowhere at all.
But that goes for all ground-based professions. It's a whole new ballgame with JTL, and one I can't wait to play
Oh, and about the skillpoint thing... let's just say it's not a problem at all.

cool. I was hoping it would be an addition of profs and points (for those profs) and not just an addition of profs....... We're you allowed to say that?

I just said it wasn't a problem
Besides, if you devstalk on the JTL forums, you'll see a lot of this was talked about already

It's not like the vision for JTL pilot professions hasn't been leaked.
Last I heard (some time around july) you got separate boxes that allowed certain skills and certain certifications by running missions and PvP:ing much like Jedi FRS I'd imagine.
After all... the game is joystick based twitch... a skill system like that one we have would only mess things up.

The great thing about JTL is that even if your craft is the lowest of the low vs. top of the line ships your skill can still win in a dogfight.
Cant really say that about a novice brawer vs. a TKM now can we?
JTL is like counter-strike for Star Wars.Of course soon they'll come up with no recoil and aimbot hacks then lie about having them.
Damn it, gimmie your no recoil scripts so I can be like 90% of the current CS population!

lol, when I play CS, there are only one or two servers I regularly play, because they almost never have hackers.
