Hi, I'm fairly new to swg and I'm trying to deciade if I want Master Combat Medic or Master Carb to go along with my BH. I've played a little bit with carbs but CM seems like fun.I was wondering what the general pvp and pve strategies are withCM/BH. If I went the MCM routewould I just use my DoT's and debuff then blast away with a ranged weapon? Does the MCM have a good direct damage ability? Also I was wondering how my damage output and accuracy would be effected if I didn't train at all in a ranged weapon. Would I be able to hit high level npcs and players and if so how much less would I be hitting them for compared to mastering a ranged weapon?

I love mbh/mcm. Don't forget though that mbh IS a range prof. You get the option of using rifles, carbs or pistols so use which one you like. The only damage attacks mcm has is the fire and poison (disease in a round about way also).

Strategy: Without telling you exactly what I do here are the basics. Use paralize anytime you want to stop your opponents attacks. Use your mind regen debuff, slow action speed, slow movement speed and use your dots. Use KD when the time is right (you will know) then unload as many high damage shots as you can. All while keeping yourself alive with heals (you should save the bacta toss until you really really need it because it stops you from moving).

alright my friend....when in doubt....do them all. master combat medic of course....all those states you can put on someone/something is great. plus the heals...im confident there isnt a better profession around. while going master cm....also do master bh. sooooo powerful with amazing defenses....the weapons open to mbh is also amazing....proton carbine....is there a better weapon? you also get an excellent shot with stopping shot. i also have been hearing that if one wants to hunt jedi....a master bh you will need to be....soemthing to think about if thats the route you want to go. with both of those profs you will be a level 80 and im positive that no one will be making fun of you....but you will also have some skill points left. this is where a bit of carbs come in....at the very least get xx3x even though you can go up to xx4x. this is where charge shot comes in. it is a knock down shot...but unlike the the kd shot in bh....it actually works. if someone can give an example of a better template...i would love to know.

i gotta say go with MCM, MBH and maybe x4xx carbineer.

i was MBH Mcarbs 4xxx CM before but i'm loving my new template.

the debuffs and dots are awesome. i find it much easier to solo high lvl mobs now. i was having difficulty before soloing mobs where theres 2 close together like the gotal trappers on kashyyyk as i was taking damage form both and was spending more time healing that shooting before. now i just paralize one, pull his mate away and debuff and dot him, by the time he's dead the paralize is just wearing off and i can take his mate down.

not tried hunting jedi bounties with it yet but i've been dueling some of the jedi in my guild and i can tell u that MCM MBH puts the wind up them no end and i'm not even a great PvP'er.
