Combat Medic Archive

Anyone know if that would be a good template? I was planning to do smuggler/TK but I kept Medic because the heal was so useful for doing low level faction missions and started to think of what I could do with Medic since I wouldnt have enough points to master it with smug/TK so i decided on CM. Has anyone tried this combo and is it effective for PvE and/or PvP? I've never done CM but I did Smuggler pre-CU so I wanna try it again.
