Thread: DOT strength in PVP?

Can anyone give me some sort of insight as to the strenght of your DOTs in PVP whenever using an enhancer? I've run up against a few Defender Jedi and have decided to try and use the DOTs to deal some decent damage to them but I'm not quite sure what to expect.

Ask someone to duel you real fast and watch the damage ticks in the Combat tab, it'll give you an idea anyway.

I would do as you suggest but I haven't yet made it to the rank of MCM. After tonight my current level is CM44x4 and I'm afraid I still won't be able to land my DOTs accurately enough. Also, I don't yet have any enhancers with which to try this out. If anyone out there has actually tried this could you please let me know so that I'll have some idea as to what's in store for me.

im a master combat medic and master pistoleer, bh 3000 ive noticed enhanced no matter what its about 550 ticks together have no idea tho on how the hit ratio works i figure paralize thme and root them till they have all stats and them and them go to town with weapon shots...................im still looking for an enhancment that will do more than 550 ticks

Best thing about it is not so much the damage...but the dot its self. No mater how the fight is going once you get em to stick. You know the other player will have to heal...If they are a healer this can give you the edge to work on what you do for dps. Making them have to heal more and drain their mind. With your cm healing you can take some punishment in the beginning wile you get all your stuff set up. When you need to stop to heal this keeps ticking. Depending on who your fighting though it might not be worth the time to put em on. I can shoot about 4 specials in the time it takes to stop shooting toss and start shooting again...If the target cant heal to well to begin with you probably dont need it. Cant hurt though : )

And i like watching things burn.
