Thread: CM and swords?

For my alt I have planned to go MCM and Master Swords, however from the talk on this forum it seems that a ranged profession would go better with MCM. Does anyone combinr MCM with a mellee profession?

OK..... Has no one replied because no one can be bothered or because it is crazy to have CM with a mellee prof and not a ranged prof??

Here's a reply for you to show that someone bothered to care.
oh, and I'm TK/CM. Works quite well in group and PvP, but Solo Vs creatures is a pain.

yeah, TK does that.
Sword would be better for PvE.

there is a guy on my server who is always pvping with sword/cm and he does very well

Thanks, I wanna be able to do PvE and PvP, TK might be useful for the innate armour though. Does anyone know will Ihave enough skill points left to get some TK, i couldn't find a character builder which was up to date.

It would be a nice combination for sure.
The only reason people select a ranged proff over melee is that you have to have 0 0 0 4 marksman for cm, which if you are melee is a waste of an awefull lot of skill points since you would have to have 4 0 4 0 brawler (in the case of swords) as well as 0 4 0 0 medic.
Due to this doctor seems the regular melee choice as you only require 4 0 4 0 medic and your brawler pre requisits.

You can be master cm master tk .... but that uses all but 6 spts I think. Im at work so I cant rememberexactly how many. I wouldnt advise splitting cm/swords upcause youll end up level 70..... dont ask !
