Thread: So I'm a Master CM now....
If your server isn't down, go play instead of nerfwhining, if you're at work... shouldn't you be doing your work instead of nerfwhining?

I've been looking for some resources for 4 month. So, don't even go there bro, if all other fighting professions can just join the game and go get a weapon and they are kick ass then you have no right to compare us to them.
And by the way tis is some serious trolling, and the fact that you grinded the profession didn't actually level it up, you have no place to talk either, because a lot of us are not masters in 24 hours, it took us months to get there, ask the guy who trained you.

You were never bashed unjustly. You posted alot of statements based on assumption rather than facts.

For the average CM resources are a pain. Currently on Kauri only1 of 6 resources needed for advanced components are currently available and that oneis currently crap. The only reason I survive is because I had the forethought to farm for months ahead of time. Maybe on your galaxy the resources are abundant but on other galaxies the resources are scarce at best. You really have to think of the overall picture. Had you played a CM for more than a month you would realize that.

ANY class can be easily mastered. The hardest XP in the game seems to be investigation XP and jedi XP.

I'm sure you'd be happy with that but the majority of us on the CM boards wouldn't. We want our class fixed. WE are grossly underpowered and the issue with resource availability is ridiculous.
No other class must craft their own weapon to be effective.
No other class is as resource dependant as we are.
No other combat hybrid class has zero defenses like we do.
No other class has limited income potential.
No other crafting class is as limited as we are.
No other hybrid class has as low DPS as we do with our elite professions primary weapon.
No other hybrid class's primary weapon is limited to not being able to incap.

No other hybrid class's primary weapon is limited to not being able to incap. -false...disease + poison = incap. one hour after I mastered CM I went out and killed 7 imps. I never got scratched once. Never even had to heal myself.
Don't get me wrong I love CM and won't drop it again but please don't try to make excuses as to the lack of gameplay we have. This profession rocks. I kept a group of 2 people alive while being attacked by 2 nightsister protectors and 3 spellweavers and no one died.

I kept a group of 10 alive in the Genocian labs for abou 2 hrs.
I wasn't using any of my CM stims Juts regular stim Cs and my mind heal abilities rarely ... because if I used them anywhere near the amount of time I needed to ... I would have been dead and that group would have died shortly.
But I didn't even need Combat Sims.
They have reasonable gripes. You obveously didn't try to keep those two people alive in a raid of an opposing faction city. Get with the brotherhood and understand how screwed you are to have so many skill poins into a prof that has to "exploit" to incap someone.

Which in turn equals roughly 125 DPS. Now, what is the DPS of a master Pistoleer i wonder. Besides, with my current resources, given that Tolium gas haven't spawned on my server since I took up CM a month ago, my best tick so far has been about 250, wich would equal a DPS of 31.25. Way to go for an elite master profession.

This is recognized throughout the community as a bug and will sooner or later be subject to removal. The CM-class' power should not be determined using bugs as reference points.
As far as economy goes I would like to point out that the Meds produced by Combat Medics equate the meds produced by ordinary Master Medics. Doctors Meds rock ours any time of the day. We can produce stuff for other Combat medics, but basing player economy on a group strapped for cash crafting to sell stuff to itself is some sort of perverted soviet-russian idea of economy. It will sooner or later colapse upon its own absurdity.
We can't even build good Area stims without purchasing things of doctors. We are by far the group that is worst of in terms of economy, because we have the resource requirements of an elite crafting class and nothing valuble to sell. We also lack surveying capability (a trait we share with doctors I'm aware but we also have fewer skillpoints left to spend) making us sorely dependent on others for resources.
