Thread: Anyone noticed a change in rare resources?

A few months back, the Devs asked for a list of resources that were too rare or neve spawning. Our 5 rare resources made it onto this list. I am wondering if they have made a change to increase the availablility of the CM resources? I have only been a CM for a few months so I have no long term perspective. However, on my server right now are all 5 rare resources. Eleton, Class 2 Petro and Ti Aluminum have been "chain" spawning. Last week there were 2 kinds EACH of TiAluminum, Class 2 Petro and Eleton. There were also 4 kinds of Dolovite and 2 kinds of Class4 Petro.


Has anyone else noticed an increased spawn rate of the CM resources or has the "perfect storm" hit my server?

Maybe it was fixed. On Chilastra we never had eleton over ~500 OQ and typically averaged under 300OQ, it spawed recently at 900+. Class 1 Radioactive was another problem for rarity and OQ, seen it lately at ~900 OQ. So either they fixed it, or it was simply due to spawn decent after 8 months of crap or nothing.

We've lately had decent spawns of most Rares on Gorath. Except Tolium Gas that haven't been around since I started of as a CM1.5 months ago. Also the last Eleton Spawn was of low quality but at least it was Eleton.

I have everything I need now that class 1 radioactive spawned on chimaea last week... had to wait three months for that though.

Not really, we just had some great Fungus on flurry. but overall things are still rare.

On Lowca the last 3 shifts of Yavinian Fibreplast has been getting better each shift for CM. Eleton, Tolium, Class 1 Radio, Class 2 Liq and Titanium Alum and been shifting in and out.


Something has changed as there has been a marked improvement in the spawn of rare medicial resources.

My fear is due to the great spawns on Chilastra, and increased spawn rate, its just he onsetting of sometype of nerf so we cant bring up the issue of rare resources anymore.


That was one key thing about CMs, there wants many because it could take a few months to get the resources needed to get started, but now its a different story. Everything recently has been the best spawn since launch, sort of scary if you ask me

There also should have beenan "adjustment" to the Decay Resistance on reactive gasses, have any of you noticed an increase?

Seem a bit higher, but a lot of them have been low recently, but I Cant complain 924 OQ eleton with like 60 DR is still alot better than 50 OQ like normal

When I heard of the new spawns from a friend, I was quite happy. Some good stuff had finally spawned for CMs. And then, in all honesty, I thought of what Masta' would do with that stuff and a bit of worry did enter my mind.


But now that everyone has seen what Spider Venom can do in comparison, I don't think the backlash will be that bad...at least, that's what I'm hoping.

At this time on Kauri there is no Titanium, no Eleton, no Tolium, no Class 1 Radio, and no Liq 2 Petro currently shifted.....oh and the Yav Fiberplast is crap

Feel good I am not going to make anything with spider venom, I am going to use what I have more as decorations, or just plain crazy poison packs I can be in awe of.

I have. We had no Class 1 Radioactive on Starsider until a few days back. 7 months in, and no Class 1 Radio, and suddenly it pops on practically every planet
