Hi guys and gals,

I was moving up the weaponsmith tree and decided to go the combat medic route. Are there any artisan or scout skills that I should think twice about losing? Is losing mask scent a big deal?

I have some scout skills at the moment, but I'll be losing them all eventually. I don't really have any problems with that. /maskscent is neat, and helps me run missions, but not exactly neccessary.

Artisan is a different story though. I might sacrifice some Pistoleer skills to keep some of the survey line. CM is a craft heavy profession, and you need to get your resources somewhere. It's very convenient to have the ability to survey/sample while looking for a spot to place a harvestor. If you already have the credits and the contacts needed to buy your resources, then you don't need the Artisan tree. However, I find it extremely difficult to find the resources I need by those means alone. I sample almost everything I use.

So to answer your question: I don't need any scout skills to be a proficient CM. I (personally)make heavy usethe Survey ability of Artisan, and don't plan on getting rid of it.

Hope that helps.

Hey guys. I've been a Pistoleer for a few months but have ignored it due to my short stint at becoming a jedi (didnt do it in case your wondering, got master pike and dropped it at novice). I was wondering what order skills I should go up in. I know alot of ppl say Fan Shot but what after that?
