Thread: Question on my poisons and diseases

I made some up playing around with different stuff the poison's came out ok but my disease packs were weak I think.

Mind poison C Mind disease C

pot- 111 127

Eff 34196

Dur 295 719

Ran 1916

Use 59 66


Just couldnt get the numbers higher any suggestions Im using some awesome componets no spider venom. I am using 5/70 rancor bile In my test.

First, I will point out that your numbers look suspicious. If you are using 5 use, 70 charge rancor bile, youl poisons and diseases should have at least 71 uses.


In looking at your poison, keeping in mind that you are using bile so your range will be low, those arerather good stats for a non-spider venom poison. And, as diseases and poisons use the same subcomponents, the problem is likely that your disease crafting components are pretty low.


What quality insect meat and radioactives are you using? I'm guessing they are fairly low (500 OQ or 300 PE or so), in which case you need to find a better supply of both of them to boost your disease strength.

I bet the USE is CM Med use not charges. The stats are pretty good. It looks like you are using at least 50-52 power Infection Amps with maybe 65x90ish ARCs? The range is as expected for bile. The power on the poison is very good, average for most CMs using great resources is about 250-300. The Fungus your are using is awesome. For the disease it actually isn't too bad but the DR looks a bit low on your Insect meat and Radio. Mid range DR with a 77x96 ARC gives me about 890ish duration.


You need to get ahold of some resources to make ADMs. The longer range will make your poisons and diseases deadly in PVP.

My charges are high I didnt post those numbers my AIA are power of 55 the arc's are 61x96 the radioactive is 976 pe but like 200dr insect meat is like 800/700/600 not he best I know. I wasnt too worried about duraction on disease I was curiuos why the effect was so low. I have much better bile and some 222 spider venom I was just wondering If I was doing something wrong before I used it. I have some" exceptional "bile its numbers are 14 power 353 charges. So I think they would go well in a poison and yes my fungus is truly awesome I think all then numbers are in the high 9's. Thanks for the help atleast I know Im not doing to bad.


any Idea what this might tick for I haven't played yet . And do the effectiveness tapes work at master?

The insect meat is a little on the low side, but not exceptionally. The DR of the radioactives is low too, which will hurt the overall effectiveness. However, as it is not one of the stats listed for effectiveness, it shouldn't cripple you diseases.


You posted the PE of the radioactives... What OQ do they have? If they are low (400's or so), that would explain why your poisons are so much better than your diseases.

looks to me like your Adv dispersal mech. are weak the ones i use are

24/19/10 24 chrages 19 range aoe 10 i get 43 - 45 uses per and my base range is 39m before experimenting. Next time you craft up a schematic try and get near 24 charges first then go to your AoE you will like the result.

lol Jfang and I caught on that he was using bile in the original thread. Course he clearly stated it in the origial post too lol

/sigh It's sad I've been crafting so long I can tell most of the time what the stats on components and resources used just by looking at the final product.
