Thread: Need average stats on CM items: Thank you

Hey there everyone.


I Mastered CM sometime last spring as I was grinding out a few profs for the fancy Holo grind. At the time it struck me as a prof that I'd enjoy, and so last night I decided to remaster it. Now I'm faced with a dilemma: Whether to craft, or whether to buy? My biggest issue is that I don't seem to really have any knowledgeable CM or former CM that can tell me if what I'm crafting is worth using, or just a waste of resources.


There is also the issue of "smart shopping". I don't want to go buy meds that are way; below the average either. So, to anyone who feels qualified and nice enough to answer, I pose the question:


What are common numbers to achieve on the things you use the most often? I guess I most see myself using the ranged area stims, possibly some poison or diseases as well. A couple other questions would be: Will a similarly crafted Health Poison usually have the same stats as a Mind Poison or Action Poison, i.e., can I remember one set of stats, or do they all vary widely? What is max Range on Poisons/Disease/Stims?


I suppose if poisons are to be stacked, I'd need to know average numbers on the ones that are best to use/stack. I also plan to be using mostly the ranged Area C stims. And last question:Are the secondary stat poisons and diseases effective?


I realize that the numbers will vary server to server, and I further realize that if I looked around enough that I may be able to find some of this info on my own, but I'm really just after some quick info that hopefully is easier for someone to give than for me to search for, especially since a lot of it may have changed in recent months.


I made an Mind Area Poison Clast night that was ticking for 422, so I assume the effectiveness was 211, the range was 31 or 32, 36 uses i think, Potency was high, and i can't recall the area. Is that garbage, or worth making a few of?

What are common numbers to achieve on the things you use the most often?I can only remember the exact numbers on my subs.My infection Amplifier is 57 power, Advanced Reslience compound is 80 potency 76 duration, Advanced Dispersial Mechanismcan be expiramented differant waysfor optimal result and personal preferance.My"ranged" ones are 25 charges, 20 range, 11area.I guess I most see myself using the ranged area stims, possibly some poison or diseases as well. What is max Range on Poisons/Disease/Stims? There is a hard cap of 48 base range. This will be modified range will be "roughly" (base range)*(1+1/3rd your Range modifier)

Short answer no, long answer, they will help increase battle fattigue which will cause your disease to do more damage over time in high end PvE. In some PvP instances it could be helpful.

Is that garbage, or worth making a few of? It's not completly useless, but I'm sure you could make better. Read the FAQ if you need to know what your looking for in resource stats. It takes ALONG time to get good resources. CMs on my server use 600 OQ Class 1 RA simply because it's the best thats spawned (well there was one betterspawn 500 days ago according to SWG craft )

A'cer I just master CM on our server, crafting isn't too hard to do with money or the patience for good resources to spawn. I buy all my components that are not CM specific from a PA doc, and I made my own CM specific components after stopping at only one resource vendor. If you want talk to me in game sometime soon I can give you some WPs of places to get components, poisEns ( ) to tide you till you make your own and resources to get you crafting

Here's some info on what I use/craft.


AIA - 54 power

ARC - Pot 59, Dur 85

ADM - Charge 16, Range 14, Area 11


Component Ingredients:

Eleton - 854 OQ, 190 DR

Titianium Alum -940 OQ

Yavin FP - 563 OQ

Class 2 LP - 626 OQ PE 877

Class 1 Radio - 887 OQ 528 PE 468 DR


Other ingred (assembly stuff)


Liq Pet - 995 OQ

non-ferrous - 982 OQ, 969 CD

fungi - 966 OQ

Insect meat (not great, but i have a ton of it) 446 OQ, 710 PE, 727 DR


oh, and my Tolium gas is abyssmal, probably one of my big issues. I believe it's about 136 OQ, 828 DR. my other tolium is 220 oq, 38 dr or so.


oh, btw, that 422 tick was an area poison, the singles i make are power around 290, ticking for about 540.


Thanks for any feedback, looks like I have to go shopping for a few things, Ados, any wp you have for resource vendors would be awesome. I normally have stuff around from my various collections, but some of the CM stuff is obscure. Still trying to find out why I had tolium in the first place!

The thing that would be the easiest to change would be the fiberplast. Look for good OQ/DR Yavinian fiberplast. It's always in spawn so keep an eye out.
