ok, since im a casual gamer, ill probably get flamed retarted for this, but it seems like a very useful technique. ( i got almost 30k xp in less than 10 minutes).

what do you need?

1) a friend that has any kind of tumble move... i.e. tumble to stand, tumble to kneel, tumble to prone... the tumble to stand works best since they dont actually move but still lose HAM.

2) a LOT of stims ... i was using stim Bs and went thru them very fast. i think i went thru 20 or so in 10 minutes.

3) patients... it was very boring sitting there hitting my hotkey for my stim every 5 seconds but its worth the wait.

as for my stats, i was training up first aid 4, diagnostics 4, and pharmacology 4... if you do your math thats 45k xp to get all of them to the point where you can train them. when i was done, all i needed was 10kish to train up FA4 left. i was halfway thru one of them when i started this.

i was located in the Anchorhead cantina, and a fellow medic agreed to help me out by tumbling for me and i tumbled for her..

i hope this isnt a cheat, if so, i apologize in advance since i am a very casual gamer.. i get on maybe 2 times a week for an average of 2 hours a day..

good luck and enjoy.

Why don't you 'duel' your friend in the Med Center... and use knives or swords.

You can use the first aid command to stop the bleeding andheal wounds (not only damage)!

LOL dueling is great when no one is around in the med center. i don't see why we can't because no one else has a downtime as far as getting xp goes, like when you have no one around to heal. Well anyway take advantage of it while you can who know when they nerf bat will start swinging our way.

That's a lot of xp in a short time! I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong... I usually only get about 30xp per heal on average. I'm using stim A's and heal between 80-150 points usually. Should I start crafting stim B's instead to get higher xp?

Thanks!

Absolutely Skorp, you need better meds to heal more to get more. And two people shooting each other mercilessly in the med center can actually be (vaguely)fun as well as lucrative for XP. I suppose if you wanted to rationalize, you could just call it simulation training. Spamming bleedshots is actually better for most medics, since first aid doesn't use up supplies. I realised after a while that maybe taking your armor off is a good idea..hehe. No need to destroy it for medical XP.

Though if they are doing the tumbling thing, have them wear the armor (at least the parts that affect action and health primarily). Lower secondary stats = faster HAM lost = better healing exp. If you are healing each other, keep the major mind altering armor off of course.

People never learn.
Did you notice WHY pet exp healing was nerfed ? Because people where dueling with pets and healing pets for crazy exp.
Now you going to go ahead and duel people instead...

lol nerfing pet xp was just another pathetic attempt by SOE to actually try to find out what was going on in game...

if they were worried about pet xp they missed about 100 other ways to get incredible xp...

they failed to see the problem...med xp is easy to get master medic is probably the most easiest profession to master...

rather then taking away ways to make xp, SOE should have just made med xp requirements higher

Boy, that sounds sweet from someone who's already mastered everything. Frankly, I'm not getting anywhere fast, and I define the casual gamer. Making requirements very much higher is just going to make sure I don't get there in my lifetime, whilegrinders will just have to grind an extra, what? Week?

We’ve been tracking your discussions regarding the recent change to remove XP from healing pets. This post is to explain why we did the change and to let you know what we are thinking of for the future (based on some of your suggestions)

The exploit was a person could sick their pet on a creature that it cannot kill but does a decent amount of damage, sit behind the pet and heal it over and over and gain experience 10x faster than normal. Our solution was to eliminate XP for healing pets.

expect this fixed with 'we removed healing exp from damage healing to prevent exploiting'

Then why didn't they just lower healing pet exp by 70 or 80%?

Uh, so WE don't want it, and YOU don't want it in for PvP--then why is it still there??

Bah, his post only makes me madder..

I've watched my buddies get 10-20k COMBAT exp in a night using pets, I don't see that nerfed. (BTW, that also means they earned 100-200k weapon exp that night too)
