there is no short cut that differentiates between stims - ranged stims - area stims

Although last time I tried it, /healdamage did auto-select my area stims sometimes if I left them in my main inventory. Now I keep them in my backpack and drag them to the hotbar.

yep

/healdamage will pull whatever stims you have in your inventory.

But if you have both ranged stims AND area stims, it will default over to the ranged and ignore your areas. So if you want to use area's only, dump all the ranged and regular stims into your backpack. Then the /healdamage command will use your areas.

I hotbar all my meds, and almost never use the /healdamage key by itself. I like to know exactly how many charges i have left of a particular med, so i know when to plan to stop and restock my inventory when I find a pause in the combat.

what quick key allows me to use Area heals like i would use a stim pack? I know i can put the Icon of an Area Heal on my quick key but when that Area Heal runs out then i have to put another icon. But for Stim Packs theres an icon thats up in the quick keys and i just press that and i heal. Does Area Heal have its own icon?
