Hi Guys, I was just wondering what armour you wear on your CM?

I have a Transdoshan CM and right now have mabari pants and hat and padded leg and chest armour.

I was wondering if switching to composite is necessary?

Almost all of my deaths (in PvP) come from mind damage, and health damage, so I wear a Composite Helm and a Composite Chest Plate (advanced, they have around 40% protection, also sliced for encumberance). To cover up the rest of the body I wear a Heavy Flight Suit.

In heavy NPC killing i might wear ubese to cover my health pool, but i screwed up an socketed my leather gloves so I am kinda SOL either way. Can't wear a helm of my Willpower drops too low.

Typically no armor and in a decent group no armor ever, since they tank for me.

Ubese probably gives the best protection for the least encumberance... just dont wear the helm. And PSGs are great if you are ever in a bind. But generally, the no armor thing works well unless you are up against tough foes. Also... I recommend Muon Gold spice to offset any encumberance you might get. Its amazing; you will never put a scratch in your mind pool. Downer is pretty bad though.

Mark 3 PSG and full Composite. Sometimes the PSG even works (they are very buggy and unreliable).

To keep mind regen high you can use food or Muon Gold spice, as the above poster mentioned.

Don't use armor, I don't let myself get shot a lot.

Sometimes I wish I had a nice lightweight helmet though =/

I don't usually wear armor either. Lately, though, I've considering getting some for the heck of it. When I did wear armor I wore a tantel, padded, bone mix that worked pretty well for me.

well no wonder you die from mind damage. you try to heal w/ uses mind and you wear a helm which has the moind encumbrance of a of a large gen house. you ever look to see how much mind you helm is using? if you did you would never wear it in PvP again. might as well just mind poison yourself and get it over with faster.

I was wearing chitin bracers. I upgraded to composite's with slightly lower HAM. I also use a PSG at times depending on what I'm fighting. Other than that I don't really care to wear a full set of armor. It will drain focus and willpower too much for me to heal or use poisons' effectively. Basically I only wear the bracers to go with my pimp outfit.
