Last night I participated in the defense of Theed. This was my first true test of my master CM capabilities and here are my thoughts on PVP.

1. Healing is useless
Every one in my group had at least novice medic, and had urber stim-bs(I sold it to them) therefore I found it useless to heal anyone. The few times I did it, it was only to watch them stim at the same time. At first this was annoying. But it allowed me to concentrate on killing the enemy myself so I was a little happier.

2. Combat(norm)- Poison, heal heal heal heal heal heal heal heal heal heal heal (whew)
That about sums it up for me. I was toss poison (pray it stuck) then spam heal and hope I didn't die bofore them.

2 Combat(BH) - EYE shot (**edit**) EYE shot incap
This was the other reason I did not heal much when anyone did go incap it was mind. nothing I could do.

3 Combat(CM) poison vrs poison - /curepoison (spam)
Lucky I have doc up to cure poison so when I did get hit I was able to cure it within half my mind bar. (poison cure-b)

4 Combat (group)- area poison (do a Harrison Ford double take) incap, clone
The highlight of the night for me was when i run upon all 20 rebels clustered around an at-st trying to take it down. I went in to suicide bomber role, targeted the center guy and tossed in a area poison. Needless to say every gun in that 25 turned on me and I was dead, but when I came out of the cloning center to the most beautifully site 20 or so dead and incap bodies every where. ahh its good to be a combat medic.

All in all i would say I had fun. I did enjoy my role allot. Nobody spammed me with messages saying that’s so unfair. Disease is totally useless. I even got mind disease my self I killed him and then went on suicide bombing missions.

Probably the biggest disappointment was not getting praise for healing I once did. This is my second CM, I started over. Before the Stim-b was overpowered I would be thanked by many people after the battle and most considered me to be the MVP of the raid. Now I don't have a chance they are healing faster than I can target them. This gave me more time to kill, but CM is no longer a support role in the current PVP climate. It is missed. I feel sorry for doctors because they are now totally useless except curing the burn wounds.

Also I found my gun to be useless because it would slow down my healself spams...(so long pistoleer)

Has anyone else had experiences like this? Please share them.

Faster weapon.... Pistols are the best weapon of choice for CM's. Use the fastest weapon as possible. The slower the weapon the slower your "clear" time will be to heal.

When I first made master CM, I started making all kinds of poison-C. I had been collecting all high OQ resources and gettin master docs to make me component schematics. So when I crafted all my uber poison, i went into anchorhead declared all by myself, just to try out my stuff. I must say, I had alot fun. Even tho it's basically suicide, i can come out of clone and find half the rebs in the town incapped.

I have also made some nice disease single C, which to my surprise works amazingly. Drop one of my diseases on someone and 2 minutes later they will be in the cantina with 100% mind wounds. Not only that but they will be stuck in there for about 15 minutes while the disease keeps them at 0 mind. Plus if I poisoned them, they can be in there for 20-30 minutes tryin to heal.

The one problem I run into is fighting in large groups. Now area poison works great for battles when its out on the battlefield far from the city, but when fighting the city, ive found that poison and disease is useless. If I disease and poison a reb, and they go incapped, someone will most surely walk up and DB them. This in turn waste the disease and the poison, and lets them clone with revenge TEF on us. If you're looking to win a fight, wouldnt you want to be keeping your enemies out of the battle to gain a certain amount of control over the fight? Letting a disease run its course is much worse than DBing someone. I will only use disease when there are no other imperials around.Diseases arent cheap to make, and when someone DB's a diseased person it seriously bothers me, as the whole charge was wasted.

In the end, I love CM, but I dont love it when fighting near a cloning station. Its pretty pointless to poison 20 rebs with an area poison in the city...I will always die after an aoe poison, and then come back to find all my poisoned victims already DB'd and cloned with fresh health. I think CM is most effective on the battlefield, and not in the cities.

PvP has become pretty routine for a CM...

a AOE mind poison C is a 99% sure fire kill..then u clone and DB...

the game is just piss poorly designed...

Agree, PvP very flawed, but ya i've had many of these same situations. Actualy alstnight in dearic i got bored so i thought id annoy some rebels went kinda like this. (rebels are so predictable) =D

Port over from impout, head towards the catina. Several over spotted, must find a mission TEF PC, or overt. Make a few laps around the town, checkin med center, ports other terms ect...

Find an overt yay! toss a poision on him, and instanted 5 or so coverts pop tef, spam mind poinsion again, 3-6 dropped, cloned DB, wait about 2 minutes and all of them pile into the catina, like clockwork. So for the next all i did was run in the back room, peer my LOS around the corner, toss ae mind poision again and play ring around the rosey chain healing myself.... all died i stood around feelin kinda overpowered, but was a good time none the less =D
