Well I finally made it (don't get that much game time so took awhile)

I gave up ranger to get CM and have about 30 skill points left now. Any advise which trees of CM I should focus on. I don't mind purchasing stims, poisons, etc so didn't plan on going up the crafting tree.

Another key point is I'm anxious to get in on the PVP aspect of CM. What should I be purchasing now or should I wait and grind out a certain tree first. I usually solo but when I group with my PA I usually get tons of XP,I'm sure it will be much more when I get area stims. I bought a buffed out crate of stim b's awhile back and haven't moved up to anything bigger yet because of how effective the b's were.

I've been reading the threads and have a basic understanding of the strategies of CM but I'm kinda clueless on character development. Any advise would be appreciated.

Stick with the combat support line since it allows you to use better poisons/disease/ranged and area stims. I found that healing range and healing speed are of equal importance. Crafting xp is a pain so make a friend of someone who is a Master CM and have him make or sell you the stuff that your CM med use allows.

if you are getting CM for pvp...plan on mastering the class or dont do it...

anything less than master CM with dots is useless

Agree, depending on others for you main class perks is a very poor idea, and if not master then you're gonna be fairly gimp when it comes to poisions/disease. Go master or dont go at all.

What exactly will I be missing out on? I despise crafting so would rather just buy whatever I need. I've gotta be totally honest,I've got master medic and I've never healed a single wound. I received all my XP by grouping with my PA and healing damage. I might be looking at an incorrect site but if I just go up the combat medic support and ranged healing trees wouldn't that be right up my alley? If I don't do the other 2 are the only things I miss out on are healing wounds and crafting or am I missing something?

If I'm correct could you guys advise me on what types of stuff I should purchase and which tree would be best to start on.

The reason I didn't want master is because I enjoy the other skills I have. I gave up ranger because it was pretty lame. Right now I'm pistoleer 0-0-3-1 and CH 2-3-1-1. I had never considered medic before but when I got bored with Ranger I picked up novice medic and was suprised how much I've enjoyed it.

Thanks in advance.

you will be missing out on 25% of the speed, range, and effectiveness. And you wont be able to use AOE poison c, AOE disease c ( when its fixed ) ranged stim e ( i was bored and made one) And not to mention most Combat medics wont sell there stuff since its such a pain in the ars to make.

Mort just summed it up right there, specialy with the last line... Making CM poisions/disease is not an easy tasks, specialy if you want decent ones to work with. I know that i wouldn't sell anything but crappy bad experiements to another CM.
