This is probably aimed at other new Combat Medics like myself...

Get a pet! It's the best thing I've done as a Combat Medic for any hardcore combat situation. Since suppression has been broken (can it work more than 1/5th of the time?), I use a pet to keep a creature pinned in a specific spot, while I pound on the creature with my carbine and heal my team with ranged stims (I'm very close to area stims). Three things: 1.) Dont forget to heal your pet! If he incappes, hes pointless in battle. 2.) Play with him alot. Not just tricks, but pet the little guy, even if he's a 15ft rancor. 3.) Bring lots of food! If you're dewback/ dragon hunting outside on Tatooine, make sure to bring 20 - 25+ treats for your pet. Once they get hungry they zone out.

yup, rock beetles are the non-CH's best friend by far and away. i just keep mine out on guard when i'm fightin in a big group

I figured this out a while ago when a bio-engineer was simply giving away kahmurras. I situated myself between 2 ronto lairs, used the pet to attack the bulls, put some bleeds on it with my blaster and just prceeded to pound away. When the pet got a little damage, just drop a a ranged heal on it and go back to shooting. I think tha tI racked up 75k pistol exp in like 2 hours that way. and now I have an even better pet...
