what kind of poisons are you trying to use? are the poisons sticking? or do you keep getting resisted?

They don't do immediate damage. They tick every 8 seconds (so there is an initial 8 second delay before they do any damage). If you are close, you can see the "burn" above their head as it does it's damage.


I suspect that you are doing damage, it's just lost in all the other damage you are doing with your weapon. Try this - poison something small and then don't shoot at it. You will see the damage.
