Hello combat medics,
I am working on rifleman right now,and I think I will try to be a combat medic after I get tire of smuggler. I really wantable to make some awsome poisen and disease packs when I going toCombat Medic. I am now gathering resources and materials that will help me making good packs. I have looking throughsome websites and I see all kinds of materials to make disease and poisen packs. I am wondering, what kind of stats of material should I gathering? I don't have any experience on medic crafting, so read through some combat medicthreads. After reading Combat Medic FAQ, and I came up withtwo questions that I hope some combat medics can help me answer.
-In combat medic FAQ, it says OQ and DR are important for subcomponent and OQ and UT for minerials, chemical, and metal. What about gas, radioactive and water? which stats are more important?
- I have a Doctor friend. Doescombat medic's subcomponents similar to doctor's subcomposnets? In other word Can I use the component that made by doctor? or there are totally different.

If you open up a crafting tool, load up a schematic for something, and look at the right side of the screen, it will tell you which stats affect the various features of the poison, disease, or stimpack.
Personally, I took a notepad and a pencil and I wrote out all the schematics in shorthand, and jotted down all the relevant stats...so now I have it right by my desk in case I need a reference.
I know I'm a dork...but oh well.

CD is also important to increase your range and charges. Overall you want high OQ, PE and DR for almost anything you use and high CD for Metals. One thing I did notice however as far as DR goes. Using the same resources and components when making a poison with the only variable being the Fungus used, I found the DR affects the amount of experimentation points you can put into effectiveness. For instance I can use Imerc (960 OQ, 936 PE, 251 DR) and only able to put in 8 spaces and max at 9 points vs. using Wela (901 OQ, 870 PE, 860 DR) with which I get 10 spaces and use my full 12 points resulting in a higher damage poison. I'll have to do some more experimenting but overall I choose Wela over Imerc....

They are the same components that are used for their stims. Best to have your Doc friend make them for your use in ranged and area stims.
