Anyone test these to see if they combat the effectiveness of poison/disease?

I'd like to see the Devs explain why on earth they put in the new CM loot in the cave.
"We put in spider poison so that CMs can kill all the newbies in the game in horrible ways until they can get their hands on a rebreather, making CMs worthless. CM was intended to be the newbie killer class." - What the ... ?

could be, but his post sounds like he could equip it, but you couldn't see it while it was equip'd.

Devs put in new CM loot to finally balance them out. Now, with super hard to get looted components and resources that took weeks or months to get, a CM can now hit for as hard as the other combat profession in pvp, and even better, they are a bit stronger in pve!
Nothing more annoying than watching a commando hit stuff in pve for 12k, and then you toss a poison that does 600
At least now it's 1k

I was in the Lab last night, i believe they are equipable or just having it in your inventory wards off the poison cloud traps in the lab...not sure about outside, haven't tested it yet. The only thing I'm sure of is that it is not tradeable. My buddy had 2 and couldn't trade one to me before i entered the cave.

Yea, not tradable.
I threw a disease right at this dude earlier as a test, while he had it equiped. He wasnt happy. haha.
