ive already been seeing this problem popping up several places. the problem is that with publish 7's hard Defense caps i am guessing there will be waves upon waves of combat/cm templates. i mean im not saying they already arent a ton, there are. but not as many as i think there will be. at the moment i rarely meet another CM in PvP. publish 7 is going to upset me for that fact. i mean im a carbineer as well i should love 7, but i dont. i think hard caps on def's shouldnt be put in. if someone wants to work all that time to get TKM/master fencer/master brawler... LET THEM. it isnt easy getting that... i just hope to god my assumptions dont come true

is this happening anywhere else? common defense stackers dropping all but one combat profession for CM?

CM isn't a dabble friendly profession. Once they see there aren't many CM vendors selling poisons by the truckload and they have to do the crafting themselves, they will get a reality check when they try to scour for resources. Overall CM is the most expensive "non-true crafter" (for lack of a better term) to maintain. Those slackers and FOTM fanbois will quit when they realize that.

I'm not. I've been a CM too long and lived through the nerfs to care. Bring it on DEVs. I'll adapt, improvise and overcome.
