Now I could be wrong, but there is no way to heal mind damage during combat by any class right?

In PvP everyone will go for headshots making medics 100% useless. Has this ever been addressed?

i don't know about you. but i've pvp'd about 10 times in coronet...and i've yet to lose.

it just depends on the skill level on the player. you also have to learn to choose your opponents. like if you are a combat medic and you see a creature handler with 2 pets...it wouldn't be wise to duel him.

however if you are talking about group pvp. well...there really is nothing that we can do about mind damage. however the damage to mind is so slow due to rifles. just stand behind all the tanks and use ranged heals and aoe grenades. if they are zabrak tell them to equilibrium when they are about to 1/10th health

nothing we can really do about mind damage, but remember your enemy faces the same problem.

i hope i helped you

may you be safe.

what good does a rifle headshot do if you use our FAST carabine to knock him down and mow him with action shots ?
There is no sure-win tactics and it's always situational, and as a combat medic you have a good weapon spec (20000 combat exp for specialcists means 200000 in weapon exp, enough to max out 2 branches) to fal back when not healing.

I've fought two rebels so far, both surprisingly were in Kaadara. I use rifle, they both had carbine. I won both of them.

The first rebel was the more difficult one, cause he had an action bleed attack, along with a posture change. But that was only annoying. I was able to heal my action damage while chasing him, and the bleed was barely doing anything ( about 100 per drain ) his carbine may have been faster, but my mindshot and headshots killed him in the end.

Same with the second guy, this time i was fighting an NPC rebel... was at about half life, and he decides to heal the NPC to get the TEF, and attacks me. I still killed him, but this guy had no armor, and musta had low skills cause he barely did any damage to me at all.

I have to agree that in PvP since everyone and their mom are now using rifles and headshots, Combat Medics are being rendered useless. For the past week I've seen everyone using headshots against me and my teams. And I have to admit, we use them like crazy too. Since there is no way to heal them, it becomes a race to see who can deplete each other's mind pool the fastest. I believe this should be addressed since it renders blasters and carbines useless.

> I was able to heal my action damage while chasing him

See that's his problem right here, when fighting with carabine against rifle you should try and close in on your target, rifles have huge penalty up close.

Yeah I know ... thankfully I was fighting a stupid opponent

But I see more people with carbine than rifle... even more blaster than rifle... so im not to worried about the PVP

plus im Zabrak and my mind regenerates pretty fast, so i think i'll last longer in a PVP fight then most people

You want fast mind regeneration, get spice from smuggler. It will make you puke, however.

How did he heal the NPC to get the TEF. I've never been able to heal an NPC.

no worries,

1.) the number of rifleman is and will be small compared to pistols or carbines.

2.) CM have a very good edge especialy in pvp and that is line of sight. or rather that CM Medicines don't require line of sight.

3.) use buffs

Current standing:

1 vs 1: won 8, lost 1

Group battle: killed too many to count, went down once. (not a good guideline though)

I believe we are a highly skilled PvP profession, as for mind damage? well, just dont spend mind healing your minor bruises... This is more an issue in Group combat than 1 on 1. Still experience goes a long way, I for one will never loose to a KT again hehe...
