Area poisons @ the drall cave. I stumbled across this strategy myself, told it to my guildmates, and have watched a total of 5 people use this to get CM INCREDIBLY fast. I also used this method to obtain master doctor as well as CM. So here's how to do it:
For whatever your CM med use is, get whatever area poison it will allow you (let's just assume health poisons) to use. Either get that crafting box to make them yourself, or find someone that sells them.
Shuttle into Doaba Guerfel on corellia and drive down to the drall cave (POI). I would highly recommend getting buffed and possibly having on armor, although I've tried it both ways. If you have time, and aren't afraid of failure on the first try, go unarmored, but DEFINATELY with buffs. Don't equip your best weapon, because the goal is not to kill the dralls, but to poison them. It also helps to have a master CM friend there to help you. They will be there to help heal you, train you (as capping out on xp comes within as little as 10 minutes), and taking out all the 1 HAM creatures that are about to kill you. I've done it where the friend is the tank, and you just throw the poisons.
Here's where it gets fun...and gutsy...and deadly. Get to the cave, and agro each mob as you go down, not throwing poisons or doing a lot of damage to them yet. I go down to the first big room, where there's a U-shaped path with a pit in the middle. Agro the mob furthest back in that room, and "hopefully" you will have all the other dralls around you. If not, try and drag what you can so that you ahve a lot around you. Now just start SPAMMING those area poisons. With even Area A poisons, you get 100-200 xp per creature hit.
If you get killed, that's fine, head back with armor, maybe even havla (a food) to increase throw speed. Go deeper or shallower into the cave to change the number of mobs agro'ed to you. I got killed several times trying this, but after that I got the hang of it and was able to do it REALLY fast. If nothing else, it's a BLAST trying to do.
If anyone tries this, please let me know how it worked for you, it's worked for me and my friends/guildmates.

I acheived all my doctor exp and 2/3rds my combat med exp last night by finding a lair of durnis on coreillia, hitting their lair to make 8 or so pop out.. then spamming 75 skill poisons on them... Started off by getting 250 * 7 per throw... after I got all the skills for cm I was getting 350*7 per throw. The biggest pain of the process was the exp cap at 80k. I had to keep running away and flying back to coronet. Eventually, I found a friend to sit there and train me while I was fighting. Anyhow... I got all my exp in about 2 hours.. time to grind some crafting!

Good idea. But since it doesn't matter what you poison for med exp, it might be better to poison a group of low level mobs outside an NPC city... Somebody should put that in the FAQ... wait a second...
Seriously, this was mentioned already in the FAQ. However, it's nice to see people posting interesting things on the forum, regardless.
Just to add though, if you just /peace, it won't matter whatweapon you have equippedsince you won't counter attack. I personally keep a pistol handy, so when I start to get semi-close to running out of HAM I can pointblankarea a few times, sit for a minute, and start over. Over time, the lack of incaps/deaths speeds things up more than the "wasted" time of travel and lying unconscious.

I had to grind back to master CM a few weeks back after getting merchant. I used this method, it took me about 45 minutes from novice to master CM.
1) Get a friend, get his/her action and secondary mind buffed.
2) Let your friend call a pet, and run the following macro:
/tellpet trick1; (assuming the pet's command for trick 1 is "trick1")
/tellpet trick1;
/tellpet trick1;
/tellpet trick1;
(etc. repeat that line a total of 15 times)
/pause 1;
/macro tricks; (or whatever you call your macro)
Your friend will lose about 1500 action per second, depending on how much quickness he/she has. Get a crate of stims and start healing. Use a macro for healing that heals as fast as you can (there's no way you can heal faster than the subject loses action).
Sort of like tumbling but alot faster.

That is really innovative, Bamboozle, and it sounds very effective. It will probably be made obsolite with the combat revamp, but until then, I would suggest we add that to the FAQ.

I know methods similar were posted, and I used them for beginning level CM xp. I just recently heard about the pet thing from someone else, but it seems to be similar to the tumbling thing (only less annoying). I just the drall cave because it is much less tedious and boring than low-level mobs, and I've gotten 250 x 20 things in one throw, with havla, that can be 12k in TEN seconds, capping out at 80k in 60-70 seconds. I just like straying from the norm a bit, and getting away from the everyday kind of grind.

I still favor the healing of rancors and such. Get some commando to flame the rancor to death and then heal it. You will be master in no time.

Ugh. Okay, I can understand everybody else, but as a combat medic you *must* know that a combat medic's diseases are much better at this than a commando's flame. Especially as we can hit both health and action, and commando's can only get health, and also will incap your pet which limits the damage the flame does, and lasts longer... ![]()
I'm constantly amazed by people who say 'no, don't bother with the disease, I have a commando flaming my pet.' ![]()
