I looked through the FAQ and the first 10 pages of the board and I couldn't find anything that could help me understand what qualities my resources should have to make poisons and diseases. I would appreciate it if some one would give me a link to a web page that explained it, or if one of you would kindly tell me what qualities my resrouces should have. Thanks a bunch!

Well the quick and dirty goes like this:
There are three CM components, and advanced versions of those three. The quality of the component is roughly 75% Overall Quality and 25% Decay Resistance.
Dispersal Mechanism
12 units of Liquid Petrochem Fuel
12 units of Inert Petrochemical
Infection Amplifier
14 units of Reactive Gas
14 units of Aluminum
Resilience Compound
12 units of Reactive Gas
12 units of Radioactive
For the CM Medicines I believe the power is still determined by 66% Overall Quality and 33% Potential Energy. The number of charges is 66% Overall Quality and 33% Unit Toughness. However keep in mind that all of the components used in Ranged Stimpacks fall under the Medicine Experimentation skill mod, not Combat Medicince, so you will want to find a Master Doc to create a couple schematics for you if you want to get the most out of your stimpacks. Also most of the schematics call for identical factory produced parts, so somewhere along the line you probably will need to get access to a factory.
The Advanced Components for the most part will be more powerful then the regular components however there is some overlap at the very high end of the regulars and very low end of the Advanced Components. Keep an eye out on your server the ingredients as some of these have only spawned once or twice on a couple servers. If you see it spawn you might want to start hoarding ASAP.
Advanced Dispersal Mechanism
25 units of Class 2 Liquid Petrochemical Fuel
25 units of Yavinian Fiberplast
Advanced Infection Amplifier
28 units of Eleton Reactive Gas
28 units of Titanium Aluminum
Advanced Resilience Compound
24 units of Tolium Reactive Gas
24 units of Class 1 Radioactive
I can pretty this up more and refine it if there's interest. But this should give you an idea.
