I need help. I need to know the best way to grind this profession to Master. What specific macros should I use. What resources? What tips do you have for me ?

Thanks in advance

I chose to grind up the CM crafting trees on BECs. Some people will even recommend the Adv BECs, I see the regular ones as just being cheaper to make.

Getting a couple good single and AE poisons along with a good set of stims can help you a lot in getting the Med XP. If you can try to track down a Master CM on your server that can make a high power set of Ranged Bs to help you out with in groups. In general if you don't feel like sitting in a cantina healing someone doing a tumbling macro start looking for small to medium sized hunting groups, they'll be more then glad to have you along.

If you are planning on doing Master Doctor and CM I would suggest doing the doctor component first and you can get more then enough xp buffing people.

The healing XP is a no brainer, but for the crafting xp.....

Setup 6 Food and chem crafting tools from left to right in the top bar using a separate panel. Have 18k Lok wheat and 18k Tat Fiber in your main inventory. Once you go through this macro you will notice the message "Crafting Station has ended". Don't worry about it this macro is automatically skipping the practice box after you load the resources but you still get the XP.Also I would recomend if you plan on hotkeying this Macro to put it in the Shift F12 button of the panel.

You can use this macro while you are running from point A to point B, during some downtime and even crafting stations or droids will not affect this macro as it skips the experimentation and practice screens.

The best medic xp i've ever got was helping my TKM friend level up the other brawler trees. Basically he stood there hitting pretty hard mobs with sticks andI stood there healing him until the mob died. This sometimes took a while, but with me healing him for a couple of hundered xp every few seconds, my medic xp zoomed up

Failing this, get a medical droid and heal people's wounds round cities. You can usually find someone with a big black chunk who's gone off to make a cuppa. They tend to be pleasantly surprised to find themselves cured when they return and are sometimes even happy enough to tip you

Of course there's the good old cantina+area heal trick, only problem is that all the other CMs are at it too, so getting the place to yourself can be a problem.

Good luck!

I did the crafting grind with a macro like that above. Then I worked up the Med Use line both in groups and healing wounds on Advanced Planets. Both of those took a about a week (the crafting took about 5 hours, sorta took my time with the Med XP till I hit Expert CM). From there it was mostly Area Bs and Cantinas, did both the Range and Speed lines in 2 days. Ten days from Novice Medic to Master CM.

BTW, this isnt a holo profession...I just wanted Master fast, now Im working (slowly) up the Carbineer tree.

I really enjoy CM, never thought Id enjoy playing a healing class, but there is a definate sense of satisfaction in keep your group standing when things go in the crapper....

Its the moment of shock when you throw an AE heal on a badly hurting group that makes this class worth playing from a support standpoint.

And the cursing of your foes when you toss a couple poisons on them to appease your more... violent... side. CM is truly the master of torture, we like to kill our victims slowly, not that we are given much choice in the matter though.

For medical xp, area poisons are the way. You get the same xp for poisoning a Nuna or a Krayt so go to Tat and find the massive clouds of little guys right outside the starter towns and start tossing AE poisons around. For crafting xp, the FASTEST is making Advanced Infection Amplifiers because it uses 28/28 resources @ 2xp/resource or so. The resources are not that awful hard to find and i managed to grind out my crafting in about 6 hours without a macro.
