Thread: Can't find groups :(
Best place I've heard to try is the Dantooine mining outpost. Apparently everyone loves pickets now.
But There afew if any groups there when Im around.
I;ve also tried the tusken fort but it's usually so packed no one neads much healing.
Any other suggestions?
I'm not in a PA and probably never will be so thats out.

The question is not "how do I find groups" but "do I want to find a group". Every **edit** time Ive gone to Dant (or any other planet really) the same situation rears its ugly head time after time:
Some idiot teammate runs into a group of pikets. The CH has his pets out asking people to /assist them and not start fights with any new targets. I start yelling at him to come back, and I usually get a response like "F*K U NOOB". Now, in the true spirit of being lemmings, the rest of the team promptly heads in there and gets slaughtered. Meanwhile the CH is trying to keep mobs off people with his pet, and Im spamming heals so fast my mind pool is gone in a few seconds... then come comments like "REZ ME U NOOB" or "U SUK NOOB", and let us not forget "HEEAL PLOZ NOW NOOB".
Solution: Dont do pickup groups. Ever. Talk to your friends in game, and go out hunting with them. Myself and some friends scheduled a weekly hunting night where we all get together and go to Yavin or Dant, and hunt as a well coordinated group. Nobody dies, and we tear through kliknik lairs at an insane rate of speed.
If you really must do pickup groups take a look at the people you may be teaming with. That character search tool (ctrl-p menu I think) is your friend, you can learn a lot about players with it. Also you may want to consider removing that "Master Combat Medic" title and using "Guardsman" or something instead so you wont get yelled at when some dumb*ss runs into the piket lair and dies.
Well ok my advice turned into a rant, but hey I gotta vent some time, right?
Just join a guild...
With player cities in everyone's looking for more members for their guilds. More members = more buildings. So just go around the popular cities and find one. Once your in a guild, you can meet people and join their hunting groups. I remember before player cities I had the same problem, I could never find groups. When I did it was full of retarded little children that never listened to the leader, and didn't want to. I don't mind helping new people, except I can't stand people who don't even bother to maybe stop and read the group tells to find out how the grouping works... Anyways, just join a guild, you'll probably meet some nice people

Some words of wisdom! I couldn't agree with you guys more. 19/20 random group I've joined have sucked. Grouping with guys from my PA always seems to go well, we make a ton of cash and loads of xp on hunts, it's the way forward!
