Is there alternative to electon gas for infection controllers? I am having a tough time finding it.

Nope, unless you want to make non-advanced components, you're stuck with Eleton.

Off the top of my head, I can't remember if it's Eleton or Skevon (CMs use both, right?) but there's a good spawn on Tarquinas right now.

Incidentally... according to swgcraft.com, the gas I'm thinking of is Tolium Reactive Gas.
