if we could go back to the old system in which stims would be auto used from inventory it would make life a lot easier . as it stands i am forced to use bacta toss and bacta spray without any enhancers when engaged in pvp / jedi missions and solo pve .
the only time i actually use my enhancers is in group pve since i am usually healing groupmembers which are valid targets and so i can use the enhancer on my hotkey ( though it stinks not having a timer ).
is this intended or a bug ?

Neither - nor. Just poor design.
If you have enough toolbar space, you can put in the enhancer and the action icon, the action timer should start when you click on the enhancer. That way, you also have a choice of using one or the other.
