I thought with Publish 19 we were to receive less aggro when group healing? Did I read it wrong?
Last night I was all excited about the changes we got in this publish so I went out and the first Bacta Spray Heal I did on my group I got ganked buy the creatures we were fighting...kind of like a swarm of bees. Now I don't expect I would never get aggro from group healing, but I noticed no difference than from before the patch...anyone else weigh in here?

I think whoever "fixed" that part of the code missed the //comment stating what raising/lowering the number would do, and thus made aggro higher instead of lower.

Nope. I don't notice a difference either. Seems like the same amount of aggro.....

They halved the aggro and doubled the heals...back to where we started!

I noticed the heals were much higher but I ended up tanking just like before just now I am using less bleil and stims.

It actually seems to be working quite a bit better for me now. I normally group up with a friend and go hunting on Dath. Pre-19 as soon as I healed him I would become the tank. Post-19 it takes three to four major heals for the creatures to agro me.

It is less as far as I can tell, with my tank I needed to spam taunt / areataunt less frequently to hold aggro vs. a healer yesterday than before the patch, but making good use of those control abilities is still needed for a tank.
So the rule is still valid, if you don't want to pull lots of aggro on you with healing, don't group with incompetent tanks.

Lol..I hadn't thought of that.
Personally though, I can see a difference, but I prefer getting lots of agro when healing (since I'm a tank !)
