Hi there.
I'm currently MBH/Master Pistoleer/Medic 0400. I've been trying to pick up Combat Medic skills for Bounty Hunting...However, other friends of mine with MBH/Ranged Profession/4000 CMhave said that the healing granted by their Combat Medic skills isnow useless when hunting high-end marksthanks to the increased Jedi damage.
As such, I've been thinking about going 0040 CM instead. As a Pistoleer, decreased state defenses on my target would be invaluable, as would decreased Action Regen.
I've also been considering 0004 CM. Paralyze, coupled with Warning Shot, would give me ample time to heal myself and wait for my action to regenerate while the Jedi sits helplessly, unable to attack. Being able to snare a target would also be handy for kiting, especially while waiting for Stopping Shot to cool down, as would decreasing the Jedi's attack speed.
Now, I have a question for CMs. Namely, how effective are the skills found in 0044 CM, and what would you recommend picking up for a fledging post-19 Jedi Hunter?

Really? That seems crazy to me - I don't fight Jedi very often, and when I do it's a friendly duel, but the increase in HE allows me to completely heal myself in about 10 seconds (shot,toss,shot) even with nutrient injection and pixie for +600 health.

Keep in mind that basic Paralyze only lasts about 7 seconds and breaks on ANY damage.

Paralyze breaks on damage, i would go with the 0040 if you are looking to hunt jedi.
