Thread: Factory components?
hey all, I was wondering which components for the combat medic require factory production? hopefully by tonight i'll be a CM (only need 2k more ranged support) and I'm looking to meet up with someone to use their factory in the next few days. so, if there are any types of components that I need to make stims that have factory produced reqs I'd appreciate being able to get a jump on them ![]()
none of the components itself requires a factory but the following schemtatics require multiple numbers of the subcomponentsthat than have tocome from a factory:
Stim D and higher
Area Stim A and higher
Ranged Stim C and higher
Poison/Disease Pack B and higher (not sure on this, could someone look this up and correct me if i'm wrong?)
Area Poison/Disease Pack A and higher
Nothing to worry about until stim C, which requires factory made liquid suspension. Still looking for a factory to buy and wondering how I'm going to do this, myself. It doesn't seem anywhere NEAR as bad when you're actually looking at how you're going to go about doing it rather than looking ahead at it.
The poison/disease thing personally I'm not going to touch until I'm at the top of the tree.
Ranged Stim C needs 2 identical liquid suspensions...
Poison/disease B needs 2 identical infection amplifiers.
Hope this helps...
Excuse my N00bness
Factories? what type of factories do i have to buy to make the higher level packs?
and in the meantime do I have to resort to a public crafting stations (and is the crafting station chem station? or is there a specialty medical crafting station)?
Can I just buy a crafting station for my house? and/or what makes factories better than your own crafting station?
Chianna
food/chem factory..its listed on the architect as just food factorytho...
you can use public crafting stations if u are just starting but will quickly find that you will need factory parts and a personal crfting terminal to make higher packs...
so yes get a crafting station for ur home
factories are good for a number of reason...obvious one is that they produce the identical parts needed for crafting higher packs..
another good reason is CRATES...crates will hold up to 50 units and alwasy take only 5 units of inventory space...so even if it has 50 packs in it it will only take 5 slots...so crates allow you to carry hundreds of medical packs if u need too...
Factories will also mass produce items that have the exact stats that ur schematic has...so you can create mass volumes of high quality experimented packs...as opposed to making them by hand having to experiment by hand and hope for no failures and only great successes..
Elen thanks for the very prompt and insightful response ![]()
one quick question:
Factories: are there different types are just a generic factory?
you will need a food/chem one...
there are other types too..wearables, furniture/building, general/droid/weapon i think those are the ones...
basically the same # as the different crafting tools...
