Combat Medic Archive

Hi there

To become a combat medic do you just have to follow one of the medic paths to level 4 then go to master ? or do you have to have level 4 in first aid, pharmacology, diagnostic and organic ?

Combat medic requires master medic, which is level 4 in all 4 skills, plus the master medic training (some teaching xp). And also requires the combat xp tree maxed in the marksman skill tree.

So yes, you must learn lvl 4 in all 4 branches.

Actually the post was correct...there is only one tree in the marksman profession that requires combat xp and that is ranged support...so when he said u have to master the combat xp tree in marksman he was right on..

the other 3 trees require weapon specific XP...

I think the previous poster misread the orginal post as meaning you have to master marksman...which you dont.

The last post is not correct. You need Master medic, but only Level 4 for Range Support. You can level up in any of the range weapons you want, but you only need the Combat xp for using any of the range weapons to increase you Range Support skill to level four. I have seen some web docs saying Master Marksman was needed, but they are wrong. If you you check the skill tree through it will show you that you only need what is listed above, and just to be safe I asked somone who already made Novice Combat Medic.
