I am a Master Marksman/Medic/Scout and have 1st Aid 3 almost 4 and the other trees the same except for Organic.

I can heal bleeding in other ppl with 1st Aid but not myself. Is it possible?

I first aid myself all the time. I just target myself and type /firstaid. Don't see why its not working for you.

Ctrl+1 and then hit the first aid hot key. It usually takes 3 attempts to stop bleeding completely

/firstaid self or /firstaid yourname

this can be applied to a macro or alias if you desire.

is there anyway to stop bleeding that is more effective than /firstaid. in my expierence during fighting doing /firstaid takes way too long, and isnt that easy to do in the middle of a fight.

firstaid should be scaling based on the FA skill and should be effected by the Diag Speed timer which is in both cases currently not the way it works.

additionaly any medical action performed on yourself is not effected by either skill.

both are bugs concerning Medic Skills and should be brought up to the Medic Correspondant (hi Traigus!

That appears to be working (FA2 - 6 applications required, FA4 - 3 applications)

Bleeding appears to be working fine for me (3 applications with FA4, used to be 6), but I will try and retest it.

Fa isnt scaled...u probably have a easier bleed to stop at FA 4 then u did at FA2...

there are differnt type and serverity of bleeds...

proof that its not scaled...you always get 100 xp for FA until the last one where u get less than a 100 xp for finally stoping the bleed...since this game seems to be based on how much healing u did...makes me think that the /FA has never changed in effectiveness...speed is definately not linked

stopping ur self bleeds isnt the problem..its the fact that anytime u do anything to urself u lose speed bonuses
