Combat Medic Archive

Hi everyone,

I just purchased SWG, and I'm real new, but I've done alot of reading, so I'm learing fast. I was wondering what people are finding with classes and race combo's. Does it REALLY matter???

I'm torn between being a Mon Calamari CM or a Trandoshin CM??? Obviously stat wise the Mon Cal is better, but is the Trando viable??? I figure there a ton of Mon Cal medics around, and would like a different flavour in a Trando.Also Iwill probably pick up a marksman skill too like Rifle. And do I just dump all points into Mind Willpower and Focus, and neglect the others, or does Action really have any impact on my chosen prof???

as a combat medic you are going to have to fight alot!!! You have to be able to get to ranged support specialist and that seems to take forever. i would recommed training in marksman first then in medic. I would also try and balance your stats.

I'm a Trando Combat Medic.

Have'nt come very far into the CM lines yet though, but as you said I put all my stats to Mind/Focus/Willpower and it's seams to work out nice so far.

I'm aiming to be pistoleer aswell.

zabarak = combat medic

mon calari.. = doctor

Hehe, well I'm a Mon Cal Medic working to be a CM. From what I've seen there really isn't any proffession that you'd be nerfed by being a certain race for. So just pick what you like best!

I'd give away my stims but all im doing is grinding out Ds and Es and since no one wants them or cant use them and honestly im just too cheap give them away lmao...

but i know the pain...when i decided to stop grinding i know ill have plenty of Ds and Es to use...

I say go zabrek for CM for the innate ability of /equilibrum which is basically a 80% mind heal if you do it right...

the fish-heads make nice docs..ok CM...personally the H and A stats on them are too low...

stat migration will help but remember there are racial max/mins...

Zabrak works great, not only do you have good defensive resistances and equilibrium, they also have the highest possible Willpower which means regening that blue bar quick. Since you can heal your health and action MUCH faster than you regen them you can drop Constitution and Stamina down as far as they can go and save all those points for your other stats.
