Reaping the spoils of MCM can take a longer time then many other professions too as you have to wait for resources to show up to make the advanced components. Just something to keep in mind.

A MCM and a pistoleer of any kind is a great PvP combo... in group situations... the larger the groups, the better. You can do damage on a mass scale unlike most other PvPers... you can heal on a mass scale, unlike all other PvPers. You can assist this with bleeds and since your using a pistol if you need to get back to healing you can do so quickly.

Now on a one on one scale... it kinda sucks. Your Poisons take too long to do any real damage and you can only aim for their health bar, so it is readily healable...

Looking at the pistoleer forums and the forums here stating how we basically are gonna get creamed, convince as to how this can be a viable pvp class. I dont see alot of positive things coming for either class.

You don't see a lot of positive things coming from either class? Do you actually play a MCM?

Also when the combat changes come, pistoleers will have the fastest speed cap which will directly affect the speed that you throw poisons while firing, so it'll be a better combo then in comparison to what it is now.. taking into consideration that I dont know what the other pistol changes will be.

I *just* ground it up to MCM, so I have yet to reap the spoils. From what ive done so far I like it, but I am concerned that going all out to make poisons, ranged stims will be a waste of time when CMs may or may not be nerfed even more than they already are.

If the pistol thing goes through, cool, I'll keep that branch then.

Its not all that bad. If you like to be up near the front like me tossing out heals and stuff you get you use the pistol whip on them and knock them down lol. But i ALWAYS have a rifle handy even headshot 2 can devistate there mind pool with a poision.

One on one as a combat medic and pistoleer just use a mind poison and bob and weave till your target ticks to 1 mind. Then go after em with random ham attacks like double tap.

Finally, I kill more then i'm killed. Well, I always was the reason for a lot of death, I just didn't get a lot of deathblows before Master Pistoleer. Now i'm hard to hit.

I don't know if it's the best profession, but I'm havinga blast (and I do nicely on PvE and I can burn though faction missions).

However, I think you need to be Master in both to really do well in PvP.

I recently drooped Master Doc. I got novice pistoleer and stances 3 yesterday. A guildmate and I were goofing around waiting for the shuttle on a guild hunt and were dueling. She had mitigation 2, I had armor. We had a loooong shooting battle that was really fun. She could cause more damage but I could heal more damage. Finally she talked some smack about Combat Medics being barefoot and working in the medical center. Then I took my composite boots off and dropped a 560 tic poison on her

Let's just say I think I'm gonna like my CM with pistoleer skills thrown in.

The only problem with this combo, as stated above, is that pistol does health and in PvP you will basicly only use the mind poisons/diseases

once their mind goes down to 1 from my 534 tick mind poisons, i just run in and spam stopping shot. after 4-5 shots, 1 usually hits the mind pool for an incap.

I have migrated my stats to Combat Medic, so my action pool is not that great. I use a macro.

3 stopingshots 1 healdamage self
