Thread: So we can heal droids now? Sweet!

Hi,
New combat medic here (former droid engineer), and I've enjoyedmy newprofession so far. Anyone else notice that our heals (and doctor buffs) work on droids now? I found out rather by accident, seeing my probot regenerate health every time I area healed. Don't know if this is intended, but it really quite nice. I hate to watch my pistols decay into dust, so my damage mostly comes from dot's and droid fire... and I just toss bacta on my probot once in a while to heal him as I go. Most action my new disruptor pistol sees is an occasional stopping shot

Interesting.
Could you tell me. After you get a mob all doted up with your cm stuff and got your droid tanking away. When you heal the droid do you find you pull the mobs off your droid onto you a lot? Or does most of your healing come after the fighting.

Im sure you know...But you could adk your favorit pistol and use it forever withought concern :0)

I canthrow at least4bactatossesat the droid before I've generated enough hate to pull the mob, though I often go whole fights without pulling aggro. At that point, I drop a stopping shot, allowing the droid to continue fire, and by the time the root drops, the probot has regained aggro. Luckily, DoT's don't seem to generate hate towards the CM as they tick.
Also there have been other changes to droids that make them more viable in combat (33% health increase for dz70 and probot, free anywhere incap recovery, and all droids have some regen now, regardless of auto-repair rating). Also, issuing the Guard command beforehand seems to allow the droid to generate more hate than usual with each shot fired (unconfirmed, but seems to be the trend). I find it useful regardless just for the extra range... nice toprovide ranged support forjedi in a group without causing vis, something that can happen easily with only 35 m range on pistols and 32 m range on vis.
Yah, an ADK would be nice lol... too bad I've not been around as long as most of you. I have another 6 months til I get my one year reward... and I'm not really willing to spend 15 million to acquire somebody else's
