Thread: Instant cure upon incap/end of combat?

I am irritated that apparently my applied poison and fire end immediately if I am incapped or move far enough off for combat to end. Why should my absence cure my enemy?
Eliminating the poison and run strategy is only a minor issuesince despawns rendered useless most of the time anyway.
The big issue is damage to the feel and satisfaction of the profession. It is very satisfying to see my acursed enemy die by my hand, even if I am lying on the ground helpless. I liked being feared in PVP because even a far more powerfull character was likely to suffer badly if they attacked and killed me. It compensated for my short survival in group combat.
I think this the greatest loss to the CM from the CU!
