Thread: Crafting the grind
Can someone please tell me what the best item(s) to grind the xp needed to get to CM med crafting master?
I have the first lvl aready, from just crafting things i need to heal with, but i want to master this tree very fast, so i dont have to worry about having any touble having out of date stims.

I did most of that tree making the stims needed for the group hunts. However, if you want to grind...I did the last box grinding Bio Effect Controllers in practice mode. Boring but got it done.
I had already mastered the other sections and just wanted to get it done.

I bought about 6k of really poor organic, 6k of really poor inorganic and made Bio Effect Controller for the last 2 boxes of CM crafting. I used a macro to do it, and I really really wish I had done it for all my crafting (Doctor too)
I was using 5 stations at a time, with one macro opening the station, me putting in the ingredients, then the macro finished the craft ond opened the next one. The macro made 5 BEC's before I had to start it again. It was boring but it's amazing how much faster it is. I made my last box in one night.
Just remember to go to a quiet planet to do it as lag kills the macros effectiveness.

I spent a few hours hand grinding the last 4k points I needed for the second box. I don't really see a reason to get carpal tunnel syndrom.
Advancd BECs are the best
You can always find fiberplast on Tat. You can always find wheat on Lok...
With 4 chem craft tools, I made Doc crafting 2-4 in about 4 hours of grinding.
hmm i did expert doc crafting, expert CM crafting and master CM crafting in 3 houres making adv infection amps, they give the highest xp, i realy didnt care how much it costed i just wanted it done with and fast.
If you can get your hands on titanium alu and the eleton gas id go ahead as this goes 2 times faster then crafting adv BEC's.
How do you do these macros so that you can just walk away from you computer? I hear about people using them all the time for dancing and surveying, and now for crafting. Could someone post on here how this is done with the details, etc. I have half of my last skill box to do and I think my mouse is going bad from all the clicking. Thanks.

nononononono, there is no "walk away from your computer" macro.
What there are (have been posted numerous time in the doctor board) are macros which will
A) Press a button on your menu which activates your crafting tool.
B) load a schematic
C) wait 5 seconds while you double-click your components
D) go through the next 2 menus to finish the crafting
Note, this doesn't work with "practicing" and you'll have to stop every now and then to delete your inventory.
I did ALL my grinding (Doc+CM) in 1 weekend using just the first 2 steps listed above, (A and B). Making regular BEC's.
