Thread: Were we nerfed by 64m or no ?

I am very buggy purple mon calamari, so maybe that only me, but my poisons packs are thrown perfectly @ 84 and 98 meters, right as it was before patch. Patch notes say clearly that cap is 64m and max range on packs is 48. Max range cap works, tested it, but throw cap isnt. Although i never made stims with over 64m range, cant say about stims for sure.


Do the nerf bat missed us this time ?

I wanted to feel the nerf first hand and set a 84m mind poison on a rancor, truly expecting a message saying I'm out of range.


Whoops.


Still can throw that far.


I didn't craft any new packs though, maybe it's not retroactive.

Well, the change should not have affected packs at all (except for limiting them to 48m). The change was supposed to have been to the way the distance modifier was applied, limiting to 64m.....

maby old packs made before the nerf are still long ranged? if so save em cause they're now pure gold.

It's not about packs themeselves, but ability to use /applyPoison on targets beyond 84m. I am throwing perfectly @ 84m as before patch, killed krayts, NS and giant kimos, all from 84m range perfectly.

My poisons all seem to be working fine without needing to use applypoison, however on ranged heals my range is significantly shorter.

yah i can poison over the 64m.... but stim E's base 36m can only be tossed like 50m. What's up with that?

I've crafted some poison and diseasesince the patch and can easily make them at 72m range.. but ranged/area stims do seem to have a shorter range than before

Looks like they only nerfed heal range not poison or disease. I was still hitting stuff at 98m with poisons I made post patch

Seems as if neither range cap went into effect for DoTs. Will check healing stims later.
