Given these fundamental changes--is it really fair to give doctors BOTH area cure and resist buffs? I think the buffs should go to docs for sure but we deserve the area cures regardless of the range
anyone else agree?

If I were a CM I'd hope the nerf bat stops now.
Giving CM's area poisons and area heals just makes the class even more overpowered.

i agree. CM should be a field medic. first they gave docs fireblanekets, nowarea cures + poison/diseasebuffs is not balanced. i see no reason to be a CM once this goes live. stop the madness

Seems most want one or the other. Personally I thought it would have been better for Cms to have a source income like Docs and have the buffs. We've always had money making issues.
I'm hearing different things on the range docs have for their point blank cures, 7ms around them, I saw 19ms somewhere else. Who knows, it's in testing.
I feel like they keep overlooking us, although CMs and Docs have the same base, MEDIC. We keep getting shortchanged.

The changes to doc are going to cripple the cm profession if not implimented correctly. Doctors are already taking over what should be our role as battlefield healers. A line has to be drawn and the roles of CM and Doc need to be clearly defined by the devs.

A 22m radius Area Cure B is the proof that this changes at present aren't implemented correcly.
It is obvious that a C pack will be able to get near 30m, exactly as a CM area poison. So a doctor spamming Area Cures at 1 per sec (with havla) will be able to completly nullify more than 1 CM at once (depending on mind consumption).
Let's add also some good Inoculation packs (there is no reason to think that those packs won't have a resistance percentage above 50%) and we are done. Our poisons will be trasformed in some real good decorations for our home.
Time will tell....

I agree with Satyr on this one....CMs should have the area cures....makes no sense to give them to Docs.

guys... trust me, Texxie and I are doing as much as we can to get CM as much as possible, and I've been asking them to reconsider giving these abilities to CMs. no response yet, we'll update you when we get info

Appreciate the work that both of you are doing. I must say I am a little disappointed that they are bringing in both area cures and innoculations. Anyways keep at it, I know you are doing your best.

Giving CMs (and not docs)area cures is a must if you expect them to be the front line response in battles. Without them, I wouldn't bother to take a CM into PVP. Anyone with sense going on a base raid will already have an innoculation against poison & disease, which makes poison and disease pretty worthless. For the rare cases of poison or disease that stick, CMs can provide immediate treatment on the lines or docs can still cure single cases of poison & disease as they always have.
Everyone is crying to have CM be a support profession. Wouldn't area cures be a good place to start?
