Please, don't take this as a flame, it is not.
Those are just questions I'm asking myself.

1. How many of you took CM
a)only for PvP?
b)Mainly for PvP?
c)Not for PvP at all?

2. If it was at least partially for PvP was it :
a)Mainly for main damage dealing
b)Mainly for secondary damage dealing
c)mainly for healing
d)both damage dealing and healing
e)just for the tag

3. I know medic droid affect the effectiveness of stimpack, does it also affect your ranged area heal and poison/disease?

Thanks for your answers.

Hello,

I took cm to help my guild counter other cms in pvp.Basically both sides get poisend now insted of just my guild, and pvp encounters are usually brief depending cicumstances. Now that these changers are coming I will proly drop cm and get master doc instead.

PvP issue was a serious one and somthing was needed to be done to make pvp more playable in term of duration. The problem is there fix will prolly destroy the cm proffession. They needed to give cm somthing to make it worht playing and stopp alot of cm from dropping it.Removing the ranged support from the requirement allowing cm to take a master combat prof and survey one would of been my prefered bone to make me keep cm.

Now that they have removed the cm from the pvp eqution, we are left with the jedi to pvp against. Im not sure how to deal with jedi, i was contemplating using master tka and cm 4404.But this fix has knocked that in the head.

I will wait and see how things pan out b4 dropping cm, but unless we are viable , either as a support class or creddit earning class, then i see no reason to keep it for the expenses of sp .

c)Not for PvP at all? I didn't really start to PVP until the middle of August. I had been an MCM/MD since Mid July.

2. If it was at least partially for PvP was it :
a)Mainly for main damage dealing
b)Mainly for secondary damage dealing
c)mainly for healing Back then before buffs and Super Stim Bs, players needed us, but now everything has changed.
d)both damage dealing and healing
e)just for the tag

3. I know medic droid affect the effectiveness of stimpack, does it also affect your ranged area heal and poison/disease? No one knows, the heals are too random to tell.

I was a confused noob. I started doc but didnt like the resources required. dropped it for SL, missed stims, and went combat medic. When CM worked well for pvp I went with that (although it didnt for a very long time in the early days).

2. If it was at least partially for PvP was it :

Looking back, I wanted to be a medic. Although I must have seen the apply poison command while looking at the tree. I'll go with

d)both damage dealing and healing

I started playing your typical noob toob, but once I discovered CM I switched to another serever and became CM for duels,PvP and PvE. To be the bad guy to most everyone and to be hated by most everyone(there was maybe a hand full of CMs at the time) and just to mess with peoples heads after they hated me I'd cure or heal them..... That was then (about a year ago) I enjoyed it ever since (not as much since it bacame the latest fad)

a ha! caught you posting constructively! (i think... or is it a clever trick?)

i took up cm because i fell into healing with my usual group of friends. none of them really seemed interested in it, and somebody had to do it. i sort of accidentally mastered medic first.

i looked at the doc and cm graphics, and the buffs looked interesting, but i was tired of chasing my mates to heal them, so ranged stims sounded very interesting. and there was this "apply poison" skill...

so i took it up partly for pvp, cause we partly pvp'ed.

and i took it up for heals and chemical warfare. both dealing damage with my team, and healing them as needed.

in the early days, healing was more important, because we did not buff to do our missions. i threw some poison, but usually i was busy with ranged stims. as buffs improved, healing became less an issue, and i found that applying poison was helpful to the group. saved our tails many times. helped us kill the few kills i was in on.

so i want both.

Look at the date, it was 1:40 AM where I live when I posted that.

Was very tired, and maybe a little drunk
