Thread: Combat Medics and Crafting Ranged Stims and Area Stims.
Actually yes it does make sense to me. We are not Doctors, we are a totally different profession, we can make the components that we need, but they might not be the best, that is why we need doctors to help us with that.
I know it doesn't seem right, but the fact is again we are not doctors.
I have to agree wtih Rhen on this one. Combat medic are like EMTs in real life if we're compairing things to that. Doctors can make the best meds for EMTs and such but may not be able to use them as well in the field. So, the lower experimenting and thus poorer produces we produce is I think... very much justified.

Docs should make better components. Granted. But by your very argument, with all the crafting a Master CM does, and all the work on ranged, area's, and poisens... Shouldn't we get at the very least,1 or 2 points better then a Master Medic? I mean four tiers of crafting ABEC's ALS and ACRDM's and I think I should have a little better ability then a simple master Medic. I'm not saying 10 points total. But a Master Medic gets 5, a Doc gets 10. Why shouldn't we get 7?

I have no idea how if you take berries out of a formula, and replace it with organics and aluminum, you end up with a stimpack you can throw....but hey
I don't know about all this. Why should medics, doctors and CM's craft anything at all? Medics know how to fix people up, not how to make things.Maybe that should be left to the artisans. And while on the subject, maybe only scouts should be able to move...
Seriously folks, here's MY crazy idea:Give combat medics their own scematicsset for stims! either give them the exact same item (but would be modified by CM crafting modifier) or changed the names of the components.
