I am a master medic, but im trying to get my novice combat medic. I am having issues with getting experience for ranged support. Right now im in the Bestine area. If anyone has any tips or suggestions please tell me. thanks

Pre-Cu:
Bevon - Light jedi Sentinel II and master of hot pants
Apocko-(33 prof mastered) Master Doc/ Master swordsman

It's kinda rough actually, your best bet would be group hunts for big game like krayts and kimos. Even if you are just healing group members you will get some ok combat xp.

i remember taking on numerous newbie missions to get the xp needed... healing people in combat definitely help. just find a few friends and go hunting

What is ironic is that you will get insane amounts of combat xp once you make CM...

Just do as the above poster said and head out with a group and offer to help out. You will get it eventually.

I haven't tried it myself but use a couple of newbie grenades and see what that does for ya. (Just don't use them close in to something)

ask a WS too make you light fragmentation grenades and kill stuff round town till you get up a box or so, then hunt bigger stuff with a group so you dont get agro...10m range on the nades.

Traps

Bleeds

Grenades

Healing (others, including pets, during combat)

If you want to use just medic skills, get a non-CH pet and make sure you keep them healed during combat rather tahn after combat.
