I was just wondering about stage 4. Any idea if this will include the Combat Medic profession?

Ireally want to be more effective in PvE. I'm honestly really getting bored with CM. I'm about to drop it. It's only fun for PvP, but I don't PvP 24x7. I don't make money in PvP.

Went on aDath hunt with some guildmates and sponsors last night. I was completely bored out of my mind. While everyone was fighting, I'd chat in /tells or guild chat, even send messages. I'd look at the stats of my guys every once in a while, usually seeing them all healed up. Only gameplay I got was doing some Buff Packs and rezzing a few times - newbs attacking rhoa kwi lairs - ever have 10 of em mob you at once?

CM is just looking more and more likea useless profession. I thought it was great at first. I'm just sick of the boredom, sick of the low payout PvE missions, sick of the 1-PT and getting DB'd, sick of other PvP events where I toss my poisons, only to have the guy DB'd 2 seconds later cause he was incappedby a BH.

I really hope the devs are planning on making the CM a more feasible profession for PvE. If not, I am done with it.

CMis one of the best profession for high-end PvE, too bad you dontfeel it. Unresistable amazing range DoT attack that completely ignores armor and resists rocks in PvE.

CM is useful for PvE. I get more use out of poison in PvE than in PvP lately, because of what the poster above mentioned. People die so quick my poisons never even tick.
In PvE I use health poison to add to my pistoleer damage. It works great. Saying its useless in PvE is just plain wrong.

CM may gain from the proposed changes. I think the underlying tone I got was that spamming specials is going to be a thing of the past. I get the feeling that all classes are going to become like the current carbineer or pikeman. Given that all combat is going to be slowing down and this means that poisons (and bleeds) will become more important.

Of course this is all speculation...

Well, one of the reasons why is all my friends are commando/bh types who do loads of damage, by the time my poisons tick once or twice, the creatures are usually dead.

Then you need to be hunting Kimos or Krayts my friend. Don't underestimate the abilities of the CM. Like the reply from above says, your posions are virtually unresistable by theses red mobs.

Been there done that....maybe with the new 300k HAM krayt, I'd feel a bit more useful. Like I said, the guys I hunt with are good at what they do andthey have powerful weapons. Toss a graul mauler and flame thrower at a Krayt and you're done in a minute or two. Kimo's - a master swordsman or TKM can solo them (without a pet tank), even the giant dune kimo's.

So I'm left at going for a full combat class to actually have some fun right now, or find a new group of inexperienced friends. I'm not too keen on the latter.
